Prioritizing Food Safety with Hatco Corporation’s Innovative Solutions
Food safety is of the utmost importance, and every operator is responsible for ensuring that their food is served at the proper temperature. This is where Hatco Corporation comes in. From heated and holding cabinets to hot and cold wells and warming drawers, Hatco’s products are designed to prioritize food safety and meet the industry’s unique needs.
Doug Stowell, CPMR, has worked at Johnson Pike since 1992 and covers sales in Utah, Southern Idaho, and Western Wyoming. Doug, a principal in the company, recently shared a few of his recommendations for Hatco solutions focused on food safety.
Drop-In Cold Wells
Hatco’s drop-in cold wells are ideal for keeping refrigerated food at the right temperature. The cold well features a four-inch ridge at the top and a wrapped cold rail that provides refrigeration all around it. The refrigeration system is also programmable, providing operators with even greater temperature control.
On the hot side, Hatco’s warming drawers maintain temperatures of over 140 degrees, making them ideal for keeping food like baked potatoes, tortilla chips, and pre-wrapped burritos hot. In schools, cafeterias, and restaurants, warming drawers can be found in the back of the house in a central location for quick access when needed.
Innovation and Food Safety
One of the things that sets Hatco apart is a consistent commitment to innovation. Their equipment prioritizes safety and is designed to make life in the kitchen easier for culinary teams. For example, the Glo-Ray Buffet Warmers, designed for short-term holding during buffet-style setups, provide heat efficiently and effectively. They are portable and can be quickly assembled and disassembled.
Hatco Corporation is at the forefront of providing innovative solutions to maintain proper food temperatures and service quality. As an employee-owned company, they take pride in the quality and efficiency of their equipment and the value they bring to our industry.
